I chose to use clipchamp to record the different voices; however, after moving the marker to the last person to speak when I went to export and download, I only had the last characters voice. Should I download each voice separately?

No when you move the marker make sure your previous clip is not in a selection mode click the empty space on the timeline and click on the Text to speech button again. you notice a new text to speech box will appear at the right side and on the timeline too

I followed your steps to complete this PROJECT: kzbin.info/www/bejne/goaaeXtvjJVkbZI I was not able to get the voice to sync, but I'll try again. When the voice is longer than the video image, I was not sure what to do. I had fun with my monstrous voice since I did not know where to get that sound.If you have feedback, I would welcome it. I watched the video. That was a good start but you have remove the silence moments or the gaps in your audio to make it fast. This means you have to cut and join by using the split button in cup cut
