There are manybtypes of Lyra pencils and some bread more w water & some barley do. Great Layering and fun!

Lyra makes both regular and water soluble versions. I’m guessing you were using the regular crayon. The water soluble crayons have a code starting with WSG … super fun and one of my favorite supplies. Love the grid work.

THis looks like a fun way to explore different products and mark making. The lyra graphite crayon is not water soluble unless you get the one that says water soluble. I did the same thing, brought the crayon and thought this is not right so went back to the shop and sure enough right next to the one i brought was a water soluble one. They look exactly the same even the wrapper on the outside. The only difference are the magical words water soluble lol

I’m quite new to grid journaling having only recently discovered it. I love this colour-palette (uk spelling!). Not seen the solid paint sticks b4. Are they permanent once dry?
