What would you include in YOUR dream planner?

I'm embracing the quarterly planner, with 3 Sunday-starting months, and 13 Monday-starting weeks - well, 12 "active" weeks plus Week 0, or what I'm calling a Reset Week - the week that is neither / nor because it falls awkwardly at the end of one month and the beginning of the next. I'm persnickety and require each quarter to begin on the first Monday of the month. But I also need a full year-on-a-page, as well as a 2-page layout for recording annual events like holidays and observances, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I like a 2-page spread for creating a quarterly vision board, space to break down quarterly goals, record my a Word of the Year, etc. I need at least 6 pages dedicated to media, including reading challenges, movie events (like the Oscars), and currently streaming shows. I always include a chart where I color in my partner's work hours (which change day-to-day) as well as our kid's college schedule, to give me a visual idea of what hours I'm home alone so I can give my best creative focus to those time slots. Toward the back, I like a ton of blank pages to use as my daily pages, or to make lists, take notes, jot down random thoughts, record quotes, doodle, etc. I know a lot of ppl need trackers for moods, symptoms, cycles, workouts, weather, water consumption, etc. which I totally get, but I don't want any of that in my planner, as we keep our trackers near the things that are being tracked as appropriate. Just realized I am doing that boring Wall Of Text comment that everyone hates. I'm so sorry. I'm just really passionate about planning LOLOL... now if I could just translate my planning into actual action, I'd be cooking with fire! No pressure to respond. I'm a geeked-out planner doofus. It's cool.

I am literally in the process of designing my personal dream planner in Canva, so BIG YES to a how-to video! I know what I [currently] want and need in mine, but I'm always on the lookout for new ideas. Planner Peace, for me, is less of a final product, and more of a continuing and ever-changing process. The day I stop tweaking my system is likely the same day I greet my final resting place lol!

Hey there, fellow Rachel! I'd recommend Affinity Publisher over Designer for this type of document. Designer is great for creating vector artwork, but it's missing the functionality of a desktop publication software. I'm posting a video about how to create a planner in Affinity Publisher on Monday, so hopefully that helps!
