@@VicHollinsartso glad that you sent me this link. I am in this Black Oxide rabbit hole now 😳 and can't get enough of these type of videos to experiment along. I got the Granulating Rembrandt set, so once I get Oxide black I will mix it with the rest of the set. I also have a van Gogh set, so that's another set of experiments! Thanks again.

@@VicHollinsart I just come back from an art supply shop where I got van Gogh's Oxide Black 🤭 This prompted a question...what happens if I mix colours with Titanium Buff, would that make pastel colours 😳. I got the extra tube 😂 I am actually proud I only bought two colours though! 🙋🏻

@berolinastrassmann oh YAY!! 😍 You have incredible self control only picking up 2 colors! 🤣 Keep us posted on the Titanium Buff!

So glad I found this video. I have the Van Gogh dusk colors, and had been craving a red and blue to round out the set better. It was so nice to see the colors you made first 😊 Beautiful mixes.

I get pretty much the same effect by mixing the watercolour with extra fine graphite dust from medium soft pencil rubbed against fine sandpaper.🤷♂️

@@VicHollinsart are you doing pencil or charcoal drawings too,or just watercolour?
@VicHollinsart3 ай бұрын
I often sketch with graphite! And all my compositions start with graphite line art. I don’t normally use charcoal. I think last time I used it was art school. How about you? ☺️✨

Wait, isn't fairies an Irish mythology?
@VicHollinsart11 ай бұрын
I’m actually not sure! I’ll have to look into that 😊
@phillipstroll738511 ай бұрын
@@VicHollinsart yes they are. Hildegard von Bingen wrote several books. One of which was a record of Gaelic theology and scrap medical texts. Both included descriptions of fairies and blue eyes. Which were believed to be a evil, sickness, soul sucking , etc. They should have pale skin and blue eyes.

Sultry fairies and mushrooms.. whom does she design for, trolls?

Hehehe 🙈 Her designs are beautiful! Trolls & Humans alike would rock them. I will share the finished dress on here under the community tab if she grants me her permission~
