Your very talented. I was wondering, could you do this (You might like this stamp set to go with this with your set) a different stamp like a bigger cat or poodle or something like that to go on top of your design. To buy separately. You are so creative but I'm not. I need help like you. Possibilities are endless. :)

I love that idea! How fun would that be!? You could also do a collage element from a cat or poodle online, resized to whatever you may need! I have another video with Sizzix coming out next month that shows how I would do this 🥰✨

I've never used Rembrandt. I use a mix of Winsor and Newton, Daniel Smith and Schmincke, and a few tubes from Holbein that I've never used except for swatching. Holbein seems to be more opaque, well the colors I have are. But they are pretty. >.< I do love that fell beast. I think is more the palette than your representation that has made this a challenging project for you. It's still a great painting.😍

Wow! This is very beautiful. I love the whole mural. The moon and galaxy sky with the cats are just wonderful. I have a thing for painting the moon, as you do for cats. But you have inspired me. I'm going to have to incorporate cats in my next painting. I am older and my job damaged my dominant hand. I also developed carpal tunnel so I haven't painted in quite some time. I'm hoping I don't need another surgery because I'm afraid my hand might get worse. I love your tip on sticking to the plan. I too get hung up on the details and if not careful can take quite a lot longer to finish something that should have taken a lot less time. >.< Anyway, congratulations on your lovely mural. Can't wait to see how the next one will turn out. I'm sure just as wonderful as this one. ❤

Hullo Vic, absolutely a fantastic video about this gouache! I have wondered how much difference the Dextrin makes in gouache. I was looking at the Vermillion and I thought it was only a ++ rating? The same as the Scarlet. I am a fan of art boards too! I have used them for years and I ever had any cracking problems! I have seen others who used hot press paper suffer cracking when the paper was flexed! You created wonderful portraits! Well done and thank you for sharing your experience with us. Oh you have a new subscriber too! Excellent techniques convinced me to subscribe to your channel!

Oh Hello! Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! 💖 Very interesting about the conflicting lightfast ratings-- perhaps they reworked the formula at some point, or had new testing done? I do see tubes online with different +'s! I'll reach out to the Talen's education director and see if I can get us an answer, haha. Anyhow, Welcome to the channel! 🥰✨

I was hoping to see a comparison of all of Hobin shades of white, and which ones exactly are going to mix transparently with a color where I don’t want just a whole lot of it and I know I can just add water to make the white a little lighter, then add it to whatever color I’m trying to make Lighter or highlight. But I love your art. I have a hard time with sketching. I used to sketching all of my drawings in junior high in high school and they came out pretty good. But now I’m so out of practice and basically I don’t have the patience to draw an entire, bunch of features on the face mostly I do flowers but then I don’t have the patience to draw each pet. That’s why I like painting. You can just pick a pink brush and a pedal depending on the size and shape of the brush and how much water and pigment holds you can go to town. So I choose squash I’ve been trying to make watercolor work for me and what I do with watercolor is I don’t water it down and I see that to get the technique loose watercolor flower flowers petals almost look like a wash and that is not the end game that I am seeing in my head and it frustrates me for eight years now I’ve been trying to make watercolor into acrylic or wash and then I realized oh, just about as much as those tubes of watercolor so if I just water down the to a certain extent like hombre and it looks so beautiful, having said that by the same note, you can also leave it thicker and it will not blend in to what you just said, let it dry a little bit and I can put some white squash for highlight on water droplets doing all of that so I’m just wanting to know what white shade of squash I should use there’s permanent white titanium, white and primary white so I guess I should buy a tube of each and do my own comparison and film it and upload it OK thanks so much. Love your workand your wonderful artist.🎉🎉😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤

Lisa!! Thank you so much for your comment. I also love sitting down and jumping into playing around with paint! If you are looking for a more transparent white, I recommend trying zinc, white as opposed to a titanium. Zinc whites are going to be more transparent, so you will need to add less water to them. Zinc is a very nice middle ground. I really hope that helps you! And continue painting in whatever way brings you the most joy! ✨💕

I had to special order it but they are sold in 3 packs typically~ the size was 30x40inch, my client wanted it to be a standard 24x36 for framing. The brand is arches, they only offered cold press, but did offer natural or bright white. I ordered thru my local art store! I hope that helps! 💕✨
