Thank you! Making these for my daughter's friends for Christmas! Quick tip: instead of using glue to make the start of the thread, "needle like," I used clear finger nail polish. It dried a lot faster and stiffer.

I love this ❤ Thank you for sharing your talent. I just made one and it's all twisted. I tend to be a tight knitter so maybe the chain was too small??? I've used a larger needle at times for the chain in other projects so maybe I should do that with this. Anyways it's gorgeous and I am going to try blocking it to get the twist out.
@createandcrochetwithpatricia Жыл бұрын
You're welcome! It could have to do with your tension...I have a tutorial on proper crochet tension (see below) Also, it could be that you are crocheting into different parts of the stitch??? Each crochet stitch has 3 parts, a front loop, back loop and back bump. When looking down at the "v" of the stitch from above, the stitch at the top is the back loop, and you want to make sure to always crochet into that same part of the stitch. If the chain twists as you crochet, you might end up crocheting into the front loop, or even the back bump. Keep the chain straight and work into the back loop only. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqmkh4eElLlmo80

@@createandcrochetwithpatricia oh wow! I actually use the back bump all the time. Thank you for being so knowledgeable. I want to make this for a gift, so I practiced on the first one to see if I would need any tweaking. Your kind and timely response is so helpful and appreciated! ❤️❤️❤️

I see you made this video a few years ago. I’m hoping you can answer my question. After I made the bracelet was a bit twisted. Any tips on how to keep the bracelet flat? Your instructions were perfect! Thank you.
@createandcrochetwithpatriciaАй бұрын
You could try blocking it... wet the bracelet and lay it flat on a foam board. Place pins in it while sort of pulling it tight (not too tight). Let it dry. That should work... let me know!
@patriciajones5907Ай бұрын
@ Thank you! I will definitely try that.

How to glue the beginning step please explain
@createandcrochetwithpatricia7 ай бұрын
See 2:15 in the video. The white glue is spread on the end of the thread for a couple of inches, and when it is dry, it makes the thread stiff. You can apply more than one coat.

Bracelet for males please!
@createandcrochetwithpatricia2 жыл бұрын
You could modify this for men by choosing a different color yarn and beads...try black yarn with silver beads. That would look quite masculine! I'm sorry, but I'm not creating any new content at this time for health reasons. But try the black and silver! 👍
