Heather, there has not been any issue from IOD better than ‘Brocante’! I have just a few more transfers in mine, but I am making myself wait to order another one. Love those bluebirds on the tin pieces. I really like that stamped-painted-stamped look! I liked everything and no, I would never have painted over hose darling little duckies. Thanks for sharing. Love how the metal frames turned out and the little tray! It’s always such a good feeling and a sense of accomplishment when you reach goals. I have been working on my own declutter and organizing my house. It’s been a long process and still a long way to go yet, but i have made great strides and so pleased with what I have achieved thus far. I too have been trying to cut back on purchases, and using what I already have. The much higher cost of thrift stores have helped me in that goal, as well ! I have no basement or attic in my house, and our out buildings have all my husband’s stuff in them, so you can probably imagine how much my house looks like a hoarders house. But the progress motivates me to keep moving forward. Even on the days I don’t feel like I made much improvement, I just keep telling myself, some progress is better than no progress. Some things I just need to work in baby steps

I am very happy for you as your business grows! I am now in my 70’s so I don’t have it in me to start a business,but if I did I would love to do what you are doing! I was in education all my adult life until I retired, and loved it!!! But now in retirement I am able to slow down and be creative in different ways now at my own pace! Keep growing!

My favorite project today was the birds on the tins. I am so glad you didn’t paint over those adorable ducks and farmer. That would look cute in a nursery. Incidentally, my Mom had that same doggy and dog house plac in our kitchen growing up! I am the middle child and I wasn’t in the dog house much! But my older brother and younger sister were! Sometimes Mom and Dad had some time in there too. Your staging of your items really shows everything off. It really makes all the difference. A “ staging video” would be helpful to a lot of us I am sure. Congratulations to you and all your hard work. You go girl!!

My favorite was the French tray and I was thinking if you wanted to make that salvaged piece more useful, you could always add a knob for a purse hanger or a robe hook. *Heather, all of your projects today are some of YOUR VERY BEST and MOST CREATIVE and IMAGINATIVE THUS FAR❣️ The little tray looks so much better white (and I'm not a white color decor person as a rule), because White Swan really brings out all of the intricate details of the lacey latticework (fretwork?) surrounding the perimeter of your tray. Adding the stained luan to the bottom of the tray and including the French IOD Transfer truly elevated your tray to a most feminine and elegant accoutrement for any vanity. 🤍 The little white birds perched in it make it look ethereal. 🕊 May I suggest adding a little hint of gold wax here and there to add sparkle to the lacey fretwork details of the tray's perimeter? The gold accents on the little white bird's wings gave me the idea. 🙂* *Your 2nd project is FABULOUS and is my favorite of this video❣️ How innovative you are to create wall decor with a piece of architectural salvage from the back of a harp style dining chair and a rugged hewn slab of old barn wood‼️🤍 It may be wall decor for your home whose idea took 5 years to germinate and burst forth into reality, but I don't think you would have done it justice and appreciated it nearly as much, had you pushed yourself to complete it before its time. 😉 Rumination is often an important part of the creative process, as you are well aware.* *No, I would not have painted over the farmer and the little duckies, either...they are adorable and it is such a sweet scene❣️🤍🧍‍♂️🐥The white wax was a good choice, but I recommend buffing off a little of the white wax on the right side with a little clear wax to make the white wax more uniform...just my opinion.😉* *What an absolutely 💯% charming little white 📭 mail box transformation you created by darkening the wood bracket for the mail box 📭 and adding the IOD winter rose🌹floral to the post AND mail box❣️ Please do NOT add white wax, but please DO add a tiny sprig of that same transfer to the front flap of the mail box for added interest. Wish I had one like it, Heather❣️🌺🌹🌿* *Your final project with the painted Mexican tin frames in Gypsy Green, filled with a page of sheet music 🎼🎶🎵 upon which you stamped, painted and restamped 2 different IOD Bluebird images is an ingenious way to create colorful ethnic or bohemian style wall art 🎨 with imprints you can enhance with a variety of colors to suit any style of decor. I am glad to see you branching out and embracing a new color palate that appeals to a wider audience of buyers, too. Heather, WOW!!! I'm am so happy for you. I could see it all over your face when you started but I didn't no what. You have worked so hard to make your dreams come true and I'm just about as excited for you as you are. I loved everything today but the tray and the last two are my favorites, those trays are beautiful and the little birds just set it off.... I am the oldest and only girl of 5 so I definitely know what you mean and there is 10 years between my youngest brother and I practically raised him, as a matter of fact he is living with us now.
