Creating a cold formed Bezel with Swarovski Cup Chain by Jem Hawkes

Today's Free Jewellery Making Tutorial features Swarovski Cup Chain to create a cold formed Bezel.
If, like myself, you're not blessed with smithing skills, it's fun to play around with alternative ideas that do no involve flames!
So several years ago I created this technique to create a good strong bezel with wire and cup chain in which I could securely house gemstone cabochons.
You'll need:
1mm / 18g wire
0.4mm / 26g wire
*3mm cupchain (*approx crystal size, my callipers have no battery)
Hope you enjoy.
You can use the multi-purpose base, wire corsetry (as in this video), the Web of Dreams tutorial or any other technique to house the rear of the cab into position.
