I used a wooden cocktail stick for painting pupils. Also, i always painted the heads before putting them on the body. I customised figures from Doctor Who, Highlander. I lost my photo's when my computer crashed but you can find them on the Mego Museum forum.

Use a tooth pick to add the eye Flash Eye high light or thumb Tack

Have you ever thought about using a workbench magnifying glass when painting the eyes?

A huge part of the problem with doing the eyes is trying to get them done on camera. Sometimes I have to do them away from the video to make them look right.

If you go to IMDB, and look up Jeff Burton, and look at the photos listed for him, this is a real strong likeness for the the actual actor. Impressive work as always.
