I was thinking of doing this too but my own way like take out the doors (the closet in my room has doors you can take off and don’t worry I have a dresser where all my clothes fit nicely) and replace them with a puppy gate and cover the bottom with pee pads in case and a bed and some other stuff too. I don’t want it to be too dark so I’ll for sure add some form of light that’s bright enough but not too bright

You know what, I am doing this. I don't have an extra room or a closet. But I am doing this under the stairs bc there is this cute little room under and my parents let me to decorate it . Also my dad helped me in sanding and painting the walls while my mom was decorating the room. My dog is a boy so we made it a navy blue colours in the walls. And this idea came all bc of you and thankyou

this is so cute!! i love how you DIY'd the rug and pillows, the photos were such a good touch! my 7 month old pup looks so much like Ronan, what breed/breeds is he? i rescued her from a momma dog that was pregnant when adopted and all the dogs in her litter all looked so different. have a great day :)

Thank you so much! ❤️ We did a Wisdom Panel DNA test on Ronan a while back and he came back with a bunch of different breeds mixed in, but most notably American Staffordshire Terrier and Australian Cattle dog 🐕

I actually made a dog house for my pup (out of pillows and blankets) so theres a ramp (pillow) that goes up on the 2nd floor (pillow) and on the second floor i put a carpet (blanket) and she has her bed (dog bed) and some toys and her water and food bowl, and her leash, and on the bottom floor she has her kennel with carpet inside of it (blanket, lol) and she has her toys in her kennel too! (sorry this was a lot to read, and probably doesnt make sense at all, but thats fine!) so yep! you can make a dog house out of pillows and blankets!

i love this a lot but your guinea pig hutch is giving me mad claustrophobic anxiety. i think it may be a bit narrow for them and you should definitely build one that's bigger- especially for two pigs.

completely agree. that is no where near enough space for any animal, even a very small one. a pair of guinea pigs need a bare (BARE) minimum of 10 square feet of space on the *ground level*
