I’ve watched a LOT of tutorials over the years and what I find has helped me the most is looking out for tips/effects that you think can be useful outside of the context of whatever that video is showing you how to do. That way you sort of build up your knowledge base of effects and possible uses for them. So my answer is basically watch a lot of tutorials even if what’s being made isn’t super interesting to you because if the tutorial is actually any good, (in my opinion) there should be at least 1 thing you can take away from it and use at some point. When you know more stuff, the realm of possibility in terms of what you can make gets bigger and it’s easier to be creative!

Criminally low subs - currently almost 8k, should be minimum 100k. Criminally low views - currently almost 1.4k, should be minimum 100k. I don't even have words for the number of likes - currently 82. You guys are just gonna make me cry Show some damned love, will ya? Can you not tell how much work was put into this? Can you not tell how useful this information is? I'm ashamed of my fellow viewers. I wish I could like this video a few thousand more times but nooo, KZbin says we're each only a single person with a single vote. Pshh... TLDR: Praise for this video/Academy of Edits x100k (translated through 24-hours-awake-brain)

Do you think using deep glow instead of AE default glow will make it look better ?
@AcademyOfEdits3 жыл бұрын
oh yeah deep glow is great! I try to not use plugins (especially paid ones) in these tutorials but deep glow would help take it up a notch for sure if you've got it!
