I tried asking through the Qube website but haven’t gotten an answer yet. Qube does not utilize a PIN number correct? The card reader always asks for one and will decline if I don’t run it as a “credit”. I can’t remember if I had to pick a pin, but when I tried using one The first time, it declined it.

@@andreajones8411 Qube does utilize a PIN number if you check out as a debit card (depending on the machine and order value.) You should have set your PIN when you created your account but if you click the button with the three lines in the lower right, then click “Card Information” there is a place to change your PIN. Hope that helps!

OK - So I am just getting started with this. I see how this can be awesome for regular spending. My question is do you use this for your regular fixed expenses - mortgage, utilities, phone, or do you pay for those direct from your original bank account? If so how do you like to track that?

I’m curious to get your input about how to use this when you’re paid weekly, or bi weekly. Apparently it’s not an option on their back end to set up your pay periods in your settings - so you have to do the mental math. They told me to multiply my weekly gas budget (for example) by 4 and make that my monthly budget, then only deposit what I want per week, each week. But it still feels like it would get confusing. I hope they change it. Not everyone can budget in terms of months.

How do ach transactions work? Do you have to pre authorize the transaction on the cube? Is it a problem if you have several ach transactions going out for the same amount does this cause problems? One you attach a merchant to a Qube does it remember to go to that qube?

You make it look so easy! I also like that you and your husband can see the same things on your apps and know exactly how much is in each Qube if you're each out and about.

Have you ever thought about setting up your direct deposit with Qube? I’m thinking about it and would like to hear from others of the pros and cons. Thanks so much!

There is a free plan that offers an individual account with 10 Qubes, no fee banking, Apple/Google pay, and P2P transfers. The Premium plan is $6.50/mo when billed annually or $8/mo when billed monthly. That includes unlimited Qubes, recurring transfers, a Joint account if needed, and bill pay. You can try 2 free months of Premium with the code MONEYMAMA. If you find you only need what is included in the free basic plan, you can downgrade to that plan: smartmoneymamas.com/qube
