Yo! I'm psyched to see you CRUSH 2024! I'm curious, what's the biggest investment you plan on making into yourself next year? Let me know down below!
@MattKaramazov Жыл бұрын
I'm going to be buying back a LOT of my time in 2024 and basically living on as close to $0 as I possibly can as I reinvest everything into growing my creator business. It's going well (100k on IG, 7.5k on X, 1k on YT, etc.), but something REALLY appeals to me about the whole Alex Becker, Lambo-less, empty-house, laser-focused, spending-nothing season of life that you can mostly only get away with when you're relatively young. Working on my business just makes me HAPPY, I don't know. So I guess the major focus of 2024 is paying for as many other people's hours as I possibly can and putting THEIR hours toward building MY dream. I'm gonna take your advice on the meal prep too! Great video 🙌

AnthonyVicino My initial investment in myself is to dive into all your content, likely rewatching it multiple times to foster numerous paradigm shifts within me. I might make it a daily routine, especially the video where you share how it all began, starting from being broke and living in a bus - that's bound to be a super empowering and crucial shift for me. Just yesterday, I was contemplating the need to achieve something, and then I stumbled upon your videos.

Don't wanna sound like I'm thinking highly of myself.. yet I believe I have gathered a lot of valuable traits, skills, during so many tough years.. but I haven't been focused enough, to my deepest regret. This year I achieved a level of balance like I've never imagined I can but next year I want to get back to keep a journal, in a highly rigorous form. Wanna be determined, desciplined and focus on the priorities I believe in. (Btw, do you know the story about The jar of life?? : -)) ) And of course, wanna get into the best shape I possibly can. ; -) But the best is that the reason is not to post better pics on insta...... I want it because I want to become as reliable as possible in every ways of life, both physically and mentally.

In 2023 I over spent on Mentors and DFY money making systems/funnels. Got me overwhelm and then guilt for lack of action. [I liked your video: Wake up when you say you will]. For 2024 I need to DO= Take Action, but after Clarity where I discard 80% and focus One Step At A Time. I'm considering outsourcing and hiring a VA who could force some accountability.

@@AnthonyVicino AnthonyVicino Why do you create these videos? Is it because you genuinely enjoy helping and empowering people, finding fulfillment in it? Your videos are of exceptional quality, beautifully crafted, and incredibly empowering. After watching, I've decided to strive for wealth myself. Your rapid success is motivating; prior to finding your video, I thought it might take me 20 years to make a million. Your story of how it all started for you was fascinating. I'm curious about your academic journey - were you an A student? Do you have an exceptionally high IQ? I wonder if someone like me, with an average IQ, can achieve success similar to yours. Another concern on my mind is the state of the world; is there still opportunity for financial success in 2023? @@Samanthax1221 Thanks for the love, Samantha. These are great questions. The main reason I create content is I just enjoy it. I love the process of writing and creating something new. But there are also business goals attached. The biggest goal is I want to write a New York Times Bestseller and one of the best ways to do that is by having an audience of people who want to read what you have to say. I was not an A student. My GPA through college was 2.8. With that said, I've had my IQ tested a few times in connection with my ADHD and I score exceptionally high... but with that said, I don't believe intelligence is a great indicator of success. Better traits that lead to success (in my book) are creativity, curiosity, focus, and discipline.

I share bits and pieces of the story in different videos, but in short, when I first moved into the van, I had no idea I would go into business. At that point, I was working on my first science fiction novel as I thought that would be the solution to my money problem. Turns out, writing takes a long time and it can take years before you make meaningful money... I needed to find a way to make money in the meantime, which is what led to me to starting a window washing business with a buddy.

@@AnthonyVicino Anthony I was thinking of writing a science fiction novel. I actually wrote three chapters, but I started to feel what you described after some research. I just thought, nobody is going to buy this book, so I lost interest. Lately, I thought of it again, but you're saying this is probably a sign that my intuition is correct. My writing sucks anyway; I won't bother with that, as I don't have years to waste. Thanks again for your amazing videos, and I love that you responded.

To put forth another perspective, I write fantasy fiction full-time and yes, it did take years for me to get to this point, but that's because I didn't have the knowledge others possessed. Writing isn't a straightforward money-making business by any means, but I make 6 figures now and things are looking up each year, and there's nothing I'd rather do, so putting in the time was well worth it.

Thanks for another great video, Anthony! I believe it‘s important to be brutally honest with yourself about what you want out of life. When you break it down into the details, time is almost always the limiting factor, so you have to think about what to invest your time in. Of course I would love to earn the kind of money that makes all my money problems go away. But what‘s going to be the price, time-wise? I am well aware that building a business is the best way to earn a lot of money, because it uncouples time spent working and income. But I could not imagine spending my days doing the things I would need to do. Currently I want to have time to read great literature and practice my writing. That‘s easier to do next to my current 9-to-5 than while building a business, which is, in the beginning, almost always all-in time-wise. So it‘s currently a better trade-off for me to be a „failure“ career-wise to do what I enjoy doing most, as paradox as that might sound.

I think something that's vastly understated on the topic of goal setting is the importance of intention, because unless you move toward your goal, you won't achieve it. At 8:25 you say "Is a great night sleep worth 21 cents? for me that's a no-brainer" when talking about the cost justification of the Eight Sleep. According to your maths this cost would equate to 1 hour of sleep. In your visuals you show that it actually costs $1.68 a night (at 8 hours of sleep) which is hugely different. I think a correction may be due here so people don't run off to buy an Eight Sleep thinking it is 8x cheaper per night than it is.

Well... the title saying it's easy only applies when you have the money. The financial hurdle is the hard part, after that it can be easy. Also, his per hour calculations to justify the expense are correct but completely ignores cash flow. If you don't have the cash to begin with, his calculations are meaningless.

Get the cash. Problem solved.

@@AnthonyVicino I agree. The critique I'm making is using the word easy in the title. It only applies after you get cash. Getting cash is NOT EASY. And if you're about to say that getting cash is easy, then you would be displaying an incredible amount of ignorance on how economics works. Getting cash is not easy, and even if it becomes easy to get then purchasing power goes down which means the issue stays in place. All you did in this video is say that it's easy to do things if you have money.

You say a lot and makes your content too complex and grasp. It's just too much explanation for one topic. Your list even is too complicated that made me less into it. For example you called it "vision casting" wtf is that even, just to hear it's simply just writing lol just say Write your vision. You make it so complicated
