Creating a multitool for the cargo bike

Great concept! I will definitely be making one! I have switched most of my bolts so that they use the same allen key. Check out euro style bolts, I put these on my dirtbike for the same reason. Two different tools can be used on them. Try untempering the tool bits, weld them, retemper and heat treat them. I perfer the larger pump, the small ones take a lot of strokes to inflate the tire. I have a pump that mounts aside my bottle cage. Keep up the good work.

After weld maybe heat treat it with a torch. Steel can carry away heat fast enough for CCV (critical cooling velocity) to occur. This is why welds always fail next to the weld. It is not that the weld is stronger. The weld makes next to the weld brittle. Nice tool. Thank you.

crankbrothers make a small pump (I'm sure there are others) CO2 'pump' might be the smallest and lightest option, but there comes some risk with that

Thanks! I look into that. I love the tiny one you put on the ground. I'm not a fan of CO2. It has consunebles and what if you have to fill more than one tyre? Or one multiple times. Tomorrow i will post an overview of my current setup for the other bikes..
