Creating a Network For the Victron MPPT 100/50 smart solar charge controllers Easy step by step DIY

If you have a Victron Smartshunt on the same system you can have that join the same network - it will i.e. share are little more accurate battery-voltage and current(making your power readings into the battery more accurate), than the chargecontrollers can detect, because of the less voltagedrop(in the wires) the shunt has - as supposed to the chargecontrollers wiring.

Maybe I haven't fully understand the meaning of absorption mode and float. Does absorption mean the battery is almost full and it will charge slowly until max. Voltage is reached? And the meaning of float is it is fully charged and not charging anymore until the voltage has dropped to a specific level?

i have a question... this used the phones bluetooth .. when you leave it and go far making distance then there is no signal... do their bluetooth systems still keep that network pairing or it stops > ? ? i m going to buy a second but 100/30 one and thats my concern cause i wont play with rasperypies or even cerbos with ve yet

Do all the charge controllers have to have blue tooth to connect to the network?

My MPPTs have no built in Bluetooth. I only hve one bluetooth adapter dongle (that I've used to program them) if I get a second adapter. Can I network the two mppts? both are 35amp victrons, bolted to the sides of my esay solar..

Yea that’s awesome. I love the victron for this. I also use cerbo as I communicate across the country via 4G connection. Victron had so much flexibility. Love it.

Thanks for the instructional video! I just networked my two Victron 100-50s powering my EG4LL 12v 400 Ah battery. Love the Victrons, thanks for the tip! I had replaced a couple of 100-30 Victron controllers with these, now I need to build another system and network those two also. Too much fun!!!

That so easy to sync them together. I am looking into the smart shunt and a LF inverter from Victron. all the reviews have been great. I cant wait to hook my folding solar 120watt into Victron and my laptop threw the USB connect cable. also the Bluetooth app . I can import data to a spread sheet . can do custom settings threw a windows 11 laptop. And I was doing great with PWM controller and AGM battery for camping. going powerqueen LiFePO4 . so much lighter . can even do 24V . got all I need except Powerqueen battery. come spring I set it up on the AGM to start. Thinking about what I can do with extra power. instead of what do I need the most and what to cut . This is game changing. more power to battery with same panel and with LiFePO4 they are lighter and about 90% efficient. it all adds up !😀

Wonderfull feature. I had 2 strings, 2 different wattage and configuration with 1 mppt that switched off way before the other, now with network sync they run in sync. Bulk, abs, float at same time.

If each controller is being fed by separate strings what happens to one string (like shade) is going to automatically affect the other via the networked controllers, is that how it works? Or is to make sure that each controller doesn't see the battery separately so they don't compete erroneously trying to charge it?
