Oh boy, said it on the previous video... you are setting up for a though midgame. So, what is going wrong that will really screw up your midgame. 1. The cars don't really become more expensive to produce. They stay almost the same in the cost to build a car. This means that the incremental increase to 400% margin will stay dependent on the cost to create a car. 2. The key is efficiency to increase productivity to increase profit. Where to gain profits? 3. Factory and setup of the factory. 3.1 Give each production station its own storage on each side. You will need it, even if you get robots and automation. 3.2 Leave room for cars to back up on the line. Yes, leave a car space between the production stations. 3.3 Prioritize finishing cars over starting to build new ones. The last station on the production line needs the highest priority and the station where the chasis is being placed should be lowest. 3.4 Make sure all storages have all components on both sides. You want your technicians to get the materials fast, production needs to keep moving. 3.5 Setup the technicians such that there are alway unassigned technicians available to pick up the slack. Further more, the game tells you what to buy to improve your factory. You can see it by the price the game asks for the upgrade. Second sale spot is like a 100$? Not sure. Anyway, your bankruptcy will happen if you continue like this. Want to know more? Look at how a Sankey-diagram works (factorio players are familiar with this when they use the factory calculator). It is all about streamlining production. Also, you will keep getting bad quality for now. Your employees are mid trained at the moment, you miss all the upgrades on the stations. You will get quality control and you can send cars to be fixed if the quality is to low. After a while you realise it is best to send all cars for repair. You will know what I mean when you get to that point.

Oh, the reason you want to keep storages, the robots have not much room for storage. If you look at the chassis you can with luck place two in a robot storage. You want mechanics to place the big parts, and you want them to pick up slack if there is any. Other thing to keep in mind... the low storage of the robot means that the logistic personeel need to walk a lot. They only take what the storage needs, and continuing the example with the chasis, it will take many walks while you can place 20 chasis in on walk from logistic personel to mechanic storage. Why not have the warehouse supply racks be in between both assembly lines? There would be less movement for workers assembling cars.

This dude is truly the real representation of an automobile company. Wants to hire the cheapest mechanic, doesn't want to hire more salesmen, and would rather not sell a single car and stop the whole frigging production than lower his crazily high-profit margin 🤣 Cheers mate

To minimise stamina cost for carrying and reduce time, give each assembley station its own storage zone. Also, have at least one builder set fixed to their station, and have one or two free builders that can go between different stations.

27:00 Right now you've got cars sitting unsold and you're paying staff too stand about doing nothing. The extra profit you think you're making by hiking the price, is being paid to your employees to stand about doing nothing. _Lower the price and shift the stock._

I dont understand the stopping of production rather than stockpiling cars to sell eventually. Just keep production going all the time or change the lines to produce other cars

My family has been in the auto industry for generations and I immediately bought this game after I saw this. I think my family is gonna have an internal competition of who is the best at the auto industry… the actual car folks or the individuals who didn’t go into the auto industry
