I have a pea puffer community tank. There are so many shrimp, snails and scuds that I haven't had to feed the peas once in the almost 2 years I've had them. So cool to watch them hunt.

I have some bacopa and hygro sunset from Stephen. The sunset is absolutely beautiful with the variegation of green and pink. Also, I love how pea puffers just slurp up bloodworms like noodles.

If you haven't tried it already, a great way to grow a lot of pothos in the back of a tank is to use the plastic strip from a glass top and use a 1" hole saw to drill holes along the whole length of it. You just place your cuttings in the holes, and you end up with an entire backdrop of roots that will extend all the way into the substrate eventually. Provides tons of cover for small fish and fry. I've got an entire wall and ceiling covered in pothos in my dining room and kitchen from a 40 breeder using this method. You could even paint yours black to hide it better since you aren't running lids.
@SteenfottAquatics5 ай бұрын
I was thinking of doing that but with vines. I should probably use pothos though

That came out great. The green crypt you planted is actually the pontederiifolia, the Rosen maiden is the shorter darker crypt with a lot of color in the leaves. That crypt tropica will get friggin huge in some time, but yeah it'll probably melt back pretty severely first.

When I would stop by as a kid there would be tanks of dead fish with maybe one or two hanging on. They sold me a crab as fully aquatic and it was a land crab when i was young. So basically I accidently suffocated it by making a secure lid because it kept crawling out

2nd watch....the scape is great! Those puffies will be real happy. I love that there will be 100 bloodworms but they will squabble over 1 🤣 I think you will be happy if you add some Pygmy Cory's. I have them in all 3 of my colonies and they do great together. The get lots of the left over bits of food from the Peas too 😊 I am sure you already know this LOL

Ever since I’ve watched your video I’ve been debating on getting that sand. How are you liking it? Does it choke out the plants like play sand? I’m thinking about re-scaping my 120g.
