You have great looking healthy stock well-fed, apparently happy and interested in all that is going on. However, it is great that you are some careful. Goats are really eating machines, though their chosen food is not always the most nutritious. Leaves and bark contain minerals and other essential components, but not in large quantities, so they must eat almost all the time, even when they get other foods through good management. Because of their eating habits in some locations, they earn the name desert makers, though you do a wonderful job of tending and feeding your flock, providing them with excellent variety and enough to satisfy their wide tastes in anything they can otherwise get. However, never leave anything of value where they can find and consider it to be food. I have even seen them eat empty left-over paper cement bags, they are not choosy! I admire the way that you are employing their eating habits to process material ready for the fencing work.

if you are using fresh willow branches it might pay to burn the end nearest the ground as they can and do start growing very easily
@lisatrudeau62912 жыл бұрын
I was wondering why you did not just put a fence around the garden so the Pew, Pew don't eat all your vegetables. You could put a cute gate on it and keep all the wild animals out to. Then you would not have to mow the grass all the time to keep it short. You might have to put the car inside the fence so that the Pew, Pew don't get lonely for the car. It's called a dock that you need to walk out into the middle of your lake so you don't get wet.
@joyalexander58422 жыл бұрын
Yes, a dock is what you need for your pond. Maybe with a little gazebo at the end with fairy lights! That would be adorable!!

Will the fresh willow branches send out roots if they're in the soil?
@karensteigerwald39262 жыл бұрын
That is a good question. Not sure they would though because the cambium (part of the bark) is all chewed off.

Do you have riding lawn mowers in your country? It is a small tractor that just cuts grass each week. You would have a lawn of just grass. We push mower our’s at my home with a gas front wheel drive mower. I wish I could send pictures. We catch the grass with a manufacturing bag that attaches. We use the grass clipping around plants to keep the weeds down and provides less watering since it helps the ground keep moisture in. Be good. Peace and love.

I know Deivids is Latvian and I assume he has gone to the 'Open Air Museum' near Riga. You could get allot of ideas from visiting there. The fence you are making reminds me of one I saw there. I am sad for your geese. You took their freedom away. They will now be very sad. Why don't you just fence off the garden?
@chloesmom4122 жыл бұрын
I was just going to make that same comment. I mean have had total freedom for 2 years now you are caging them in. It's just cruel to me. And in 1 video they said are getting rid of the sheep because they aren't friendly and they still have them. I wish they would get rid of the sheep since they are obsessed with the goats.
@lidijabirsa77682 жыл бұрын
@@chloesmom412 I believe they said that they have no enough grass in their property for all those sheep and goats, so they have to get rid of few of them.
