I don't think either of them understand that severity increases point amount whenever there's an orange bubble and that letting minor symptoms start mutating at around 500 million infected is the optimal play - if not earlier with the right transmissions

For future reference Jerome, on single player while playing as the Bacteria, everything you decide to devolve GIVES you more DNA points to spend. It never costs you DNA to devolve unless you're a different type of Plague. So if you've already infected the entire world, you can just devolve every single transmission ability to allocate points elsewhere.

I got some of my best results and I devolved the transmission traits and went with the coughing trait into total organ failiure. I started in Egypt. But to be fair I was on casual mode

With bacteria you need to de-evole the transmission at 100% infection because you gain DNA from it.
