I really like that Micro cosmos paper pad. I saw Chelle make something with it a while ago and I remember at the time thinking Gayle would like that. Sure enough you already have it, I should’ve known. I’m not a frou frou lacy girly kind of girl but I do like florals and that pad is really nice.

Love both journals you are making as requested gifts, but the personalization of the bee Journal is super special. When I am working with photos, I usually take a digital photo of it so that I can reprint it if something terrible happens to the original. At least there is a backup, even if it isn't quite the same. I love bees, so anything bee themed is wonderful to me.

Needed a refresher on TN dimensions, so chose to watch this one. If you still have some of the 12x12 paper pack you used for the cover, there's a bit of ephemera in there with a cute snail on it that might suit your planned bug journal.

This is so cute, I know that feeling of being the only copy of a photo, I just made a scrapbook for my church that was built years ago… they had gathered all these photos some Polaroids, and I put them in sequence of the building process and into a book… it was fun but anxious not to destroy any of them. Just about to make a traveler’s journal for myself, so this was great. I bought the book cradle from CraftyCat and boy, is it helpful! I recently watched a video that advised stacking all the signatures together to punch the holes through all pages at once, then breaking down into separate signatures again. It was easy to do this with the cradle, and it made all my signatures go in evenly. So thanks for showing us the book cradle! Happy Thanksgiving to Gayle and all you paper crafters!
