Ya gotta appreciate the hustle of trying to sell two of your branded modifiers to people. I have to admit I'm tempted now.
@lindsayadlerphoto Жыл бұрын
I'm not trying to overtly sell them. I use them in my work all the time and love the results.

I love my optical spot! The only "problem" is, I tend to use it for everything, these days, even when I probably shouldn't - haha!

There's nothing wrong with that lol.

Thanks Lindsay. We desperately need a choice of lenses with the optical spot. We want to buy a second one but need a wider lens. Please make it happen soon.

You can adapt EF lenses on it. Try a 24mm f/2.8 on it.

Hi Lindsay! First of all compliments for your work! I bought the Westscott optical spot 6 months ago. However the projection is too small with the 150 mm lens. I saw you are working with EF 24-70 mm from Canon. Some questions: 1) As far as I can imagine you have the aperture on F2.8. Can you change the aperture to F2.8 on this Canon lens while it's placed on the optical spot? 2) Which focal lens are you using to light the background? Like this example. It looks 2 meter. 3) Is there still enough light with F2.8 as you compare it with the lens of the optical spot? The lens of the optical spot seems complete wide open. Thanks in advance! Best regards, Maarten

Hi there! Answers : 1. depending on the lens it stays open to its widest aperture. 2. 24-70mm (adjusting zoom) 3. other lenses definitely use light and I end up shooting higher ISO/wider aperture.

Hi Lindsay. Your videos and guides are super helpfull! I have sony e-mount lenses only. What you think, is it a good idea to buy an adaper canon ef to sony e-mount to use my sony 24-70mm F2.8?
@lindsayadlerphoto Жыл бұрын
I haven't tried Sony lenses yet, so you just want to make sure the aperture stays open when its no on the camera if thats the case!
