Hey Elca, one small detail that might help with the scenery: the sun usually becomes orange/red in smokey areas. I live in an area that gets constant wildfires and the sun is never bright white during those times. It’s usually orange with light amounts of smoke and completely red with large amounts of smoke.

Yeah, this wouldn’t work (as Elca said). He would, realistically, need approval from Viacom who own the IP of Avatar. And he wouldn’t be able to get his foot in the door most likely without prior background in video game design, as well as an established studio If he bypassed that and started making the game _without_ prior approval to use the IP, with the *potential* to sell it (this is the key point), then no doubt Viacom lawyers would be all over Elca for infringement. And he wouldn’t have a legal shield like Dreams/Sony to protect him in this scenario

I just love your work on the game. It's beautiful and made with a lot of love and detail, but I'd like it if you made the southern water tribe a little bigger because it's not that small. In Book 3, Episode 16, the episode with Katara and Zuko shows what the tribe roughly looked like. I hope you read it and thank you for this beautiful project❤

@@mberk7725 that still would require a high memory investment. The boat rowing section, logically speaking, is not difficult to setup. All it requires is a controller input gadget and a mover (with some additional background logic) To create a minigame, which idk what kind of minigame you had in mind, that minigame would require an entirely new logic system, which would be most plausible in a separate level all together that you have to load into.

when I was a kid I always wanted too see Aang wearing Aang's armor. Will you make that scene also when you come that far ? Just let him wear and walk in the shop is enough :D (when they went to fire nation and they went to shopping for sokka. Armor was too heavy and aang couldn't move with it).

With the fact that he gets very little help in making the game, if nobody leaves the project alone and everything will continue at a good pace, I’d give it a couple more years. I know that the project is coming along nicely, however unless he hires a whole group of people or something In this regard, I really doubt we can play it earlier than 2024.

I have an Idea for the skilltree layout: Imagine Aang sitting in Lotus position Meditating, now you mark all 7 main chakras along the spine. Each chakra is then selectable which leads to the complete skill tree. Eg. throat chakra for air bending, root chakra for earth crown for avatar mode etc. Ps:I have seen this comment in an old video in your channel and I think it is a good idea. What do you think Elca?

Hey elca, i havent checked your progress in a solid 100-150 days and i have a question. I clicked thru a few Videos and it seems you are really focused on the Maps, assets and all that. But i feel like gameplay loops, combat and animations are way more importent. Are there any improvements yet? I remember some Basic bending and damage system But thats it

All of the Gameplay things are done pretty fast, I focus on the Maps because they take by far the longest to make. We made a Dialog System, Aang can swim and dive now, he has a new Lock-On System, we started working on Waterbending and began working on a R-Stick depending Combat System, a bit like Skate Tricks but for Combat. I never do Logic on Streams hence you don't see any of it in the Videos usually.
