In this video I’ll be exploring the story, characters & locations of my Icelandic & Norse inspired Fyrún Region! As this video is a compilation of the entire Fyrún Saga. 5 separate videos and chapters edited together in chronological order and streamlined for your viewing pleasure. There is also plenty of new surprises to keep things exciting including a new Mythical Pokémon! I’ll go into the real world inspirations behind these designs or locations as well as introduce the Pokémon & characters found throughout the Fyrún Region. As I’ll detail the events of the Fyrún Region’s epic conceptual games Pokémon Brain & Pokémon Brawn just as I’ve always imagined them.

The moment i heard maria was on the spectrum i got really excited for no reason. I myself am autistic and i struggle when nobody around me understands me with the fact the there is almost no autism representation in any media really factoring into peoples misunderstanding of us. Looking at the Fyrun Region as a whole, the work that was put into this project is sublime. The location, lore, characters, and Pokemon were all amazing. Can wait to see what is in store for the DLC stories.

I'm not sure if this was on purpose, but during the forge form animations I love that the trainers react like the soul(?) of the pokemon they're wielding, almost like the weapon is channeling through them like the legendaries do for the team leaders. On top of that, I love that each gym challenge has its own themes of brains and brawn along with the story themes :) absolutely amazing. I've been following your page for a long time now and just randomly happened to get recommended this by youtube. Can't wait to binge this all ❤

1:30:04 I really like the way it's done. I piece of advice I heard is that you should have an alter ego that uses your weaknesses as strengths and whenever the situation calls upon it let it take over until it becomes natural to you. This "forge form" mechanic isn't a bad idea, but I would change it a little: instead of poke'mon turning into weapons and shields; I would have these weapons and shields created somehow and solely linked to poke'mon after forming bonds with these poke'mon, or made with metals and other materials. There would be nothing special about these weapons and shields while the poke'mon they're linked to aren't inhabiting them; but, while the poke'mon are inhabiting them, these weapons and shields would have the abilities you've described. If they were created, weapons and shields would cease to exist upon the poke'mon they half came from diying. If they were made, they can't be linked to any other poke'mon until that poke'mon dies; which means only one Charizard can inhabit a given bow while the Charizard lives.

It's fairly interesting as a region, I feel like there was some missed opportunities with some pokemon for evolutions or ect. I know this idea is very unlikely to be considered because of the dlc but I feel like this concept lends itself really well to the treatment emerald had. Something like pokemon balance where instead of joining either team you could focus on assisting the league in stopping the war. Or maybe even a chance to have an adult protagonist totally separate of the main character and rivals stories until the end. I don't know just an idea. But that would probably require a new legendary and lore and change in plot so...
