Yes you do, it is the same process for everyone who needs and FSA ID.

mar aki- You are not able to complete an FSA ID if you do not have a social security number. When an FSA ID is created, a SSN is required because the information for the FSA ID is actually matched through the Social Security Administration.

@@Get2College Thank you for the information. but I live in Ethiopia we don't have a social security number. Any suggestions for international students???
