Creating and Editing Graphs in Stata

Hi there, thanks a lot! I have an issue with the scale of y and x-axes. The graph shows just a portion of them, while I would like it to show their full width (-100,100). I would like to do it via synthax and not graph editor. I could use some help :)

Is it possible to retrieve the code behind your actions in the graph editor? So that you can run that code and reproduce the same graph you manually made?

I'm not aware of a way to extract the code, but everything you can do in the editor can also be done with options on the graphing command. Since I made this video, I have been putting more and more into the actual graphing command so as not to have to repeat manual edits.

@@sebastianwaiecon thanks anyway, it's just that if you have never worked with stata before it can be a bit overwhelming to edit graphs without the graph editor at first.

I don't think it can be done from the Graph Editor, but there may be a way to set it up from the console. Try this: www.stata.com/bookstore/pdf/g_text.pdf

It means X*Beta. The matrix of explanatory variables multiplied by the vector of coefficient estimates.

My dataset looks like the following Year 2009 (firm A) - 54 ... Year 2022 (Firm A) - 88 Year 2009 (Firm B)- 75 ... Year 2022 ( Firm B) - 86 Much appreciated!

This dataset comes with the Wooldridge Introductory Econometrics book. It's called campus.dta. The datasets can be found fairly easily on the internet.
