It’s been more than a decade since he’s done a movie, so I’ve been wondering what Sean Connery has been up to lately. It’s great to know that as his alter ego, Mike Sherwood, aka 3Dtest, he is doing as fine a job creating 3D models and educational videos as he ever did as one of the world’s greatest actors.

This guy's tutorials are incredibly helpful. If anyone still sees these comments, please answer this question: Can much of the bump/normal map work in this video be replaced using skingen? It allows you to modify skin textures with pores and wrinkles and whatnot, so is the difference that skingen details don't change the normals resulting in the model interacting with lighting less realistically than it would with an updated normal map? Now that I think about it, this same question could be posed for using the new wrinkle feature.

Interesting workflow. Not bad, though you really should put the diffuse map through some sort of delighting process. The diffuse color map retains way too much shading that tags it as a texture from a photo and not a reasonable pbr shader.

@@redfalconvfx7050 the truth is , some folks will dearly love to have animations of their lost loved ones. Question is the software downloadable into one's computer for use offline? I notice you are also using Photoshop my guess Photoshop CC [I hate using rental to use of software subscription services! Is the is the case with the software you are demonstrating?] Can it be used with Affinity Photo a software similar to Photoshop? Can it be used in Blender a 3D or Lightwave 3D or other animation software? Am I able to buy it to own or is it limited by some license which expires after a time an then you are charged to use it? How much does it cost? For example I recently bought Substance Painter from Steam thinking it was mine to own an use offline that was not the case which was false advertising in my opinion. I want a software I can own not be tied to a single site to use offline only being online to get updates once in a while to purchase by my choice. PLEASE REPLY SOONEST. I am interested in the software, but I want to make clear my reasons for considering purchase an not have to return for a refund as was the case with Substance Painter or any other software!

Also Raymon, though this is a bit bit late, last time I checked there are still legitimate photoshop CS6 perpetual licences available. I bought Adobe CS6 master suite about 4 months ago for £500. I checked it all with adobe directly and it's a legitimate licence. I have seen individual apps like photoshop cs6 for about £100. So if you prefer photoshop, don't like subscription and can spare £100 you could have photoshop CS6 legally without subscription assuming there are still some of these licences around. The one I bought was from ebay though they could be available else where as well.

I have used the software of Reallusion in the past to create a character of myself however the problem is the huge amount of work and time (spread over a couple of days) you need to do it right and still after that it not very natural (over-acting or too slow transactions). Mouth and eyes behave very static, unnatural. I think that is the problem with this software and that is why I stop using it.
