I wish to 'be a good person' was everyone's goal. She has such a soft, yet badass energy. She has a lot of knowledge for a short clip. The painting was great! The colours are lovely and you highlighted her well.

@@bobymox You should probably try to get familiar with the Japanese culture and see the meaning"s" of a Hannya mask. It is as misunderstood as the swastika which most people associate with evil.

I think she could rock a pixie cut amazingly well. I respect people choosing to look different as there is a proverbial "danger" to it, but at the same time, I might argue there is an underlying counter to that. In that, we can shave our head bald or dye our hair hot pink, but isn't there a level of self centeredness at play of saying to every room you walk into or every street you walk across with visually saying, "HEY, EVERYONE!!! LOOK AT ME. I AM THE CENETER OF THE UNIVERSE! DIVERT YOUR EYES TO ME"!!

First, you equate Mei's Hannya mask to her being lost. Now you criticize Devon's work as a "fail", as if you are expecting a "photograph", not a painting. I hope you know the difference between the two.
