Oh thank you! I do love the color... and it feels like someone else right now. Or maybe the future, brighter version of me! 💙

This was a real powerhouse of a video. I had to watch it twice and with a notebook and pen! As mentioned before, for me authenticity and confidence have gone hand in hand. As I took chances to express my authentic style to reflect who I am and how I want to feel so my confidence grew and I then felt confident enough to try again and so the positive pattern has had a wonderful impact on my style and outlook. Of course I make mistakes still and my style is ever evolving but if you don’t step outside your comfort zone occasionally you will just stagnate and never evolve. Thank you again for your input and support. BTW that jumper looks fabulous on you.

Thank you!! I love that you took some notes. It's all a beautiful experiment, right? As we begin to wear things a bit out of our comfort zone... but aligned with who we want to be... we stretch and change and our authentic style emerges. 💙

In 7th grade my home ec teacher had us think about people whose clothing we admire. I don’t know if it was her word or mine, but tidy was the thing I seemed to admire. I tend to be classic with a love for color and a touch bohemian. Tidy always runs through my thinking. I have been told I am classy and yet brave because I wear color. I love my style and my wardrobe. Ever since 7th grade I have always carefully considered what I wear and what flatters me.

YES! Omg I am NOT a white button down shirt person and it's on every "must have" list, but it's a no for me. Same for a white T shirt. I own every neutral color but not white. You are so right.

I truly love your Chanel 💙 There are several pieces I removed from my closet because they don’t fit. Some of them I donated or sold… but the mindset of going back to my weight keeps me attached to them. When I open the bin and realize one or another is fitting is a great feeling. Hitting menopause in the pandemic was heavy to me 😅 Changes are necessary and actually I am having fun rediscovering a new me.

I love your attitude about it! There's no harm in keeping clothing of various sizes if we tend to have fluctuations in our weight. Without attaching any drama to different sizes fitting at different times, we can simply pull out the clothing that fits in a certain 'season' and pack away what isn't working for our body then. Discovering a new version of ourselves makes getting dressed fun!

Thank you! That means so much to me. I truly believe that the psychology of style is just as important as the clothes! Maybe more so! 💕

I just recently found your channel, so have been binge watching. This video hit home. About 20 years ago i was standing up for a friend at her wedding. Very small wedding and i had the freedom to wear what i wanted. Long story short - I was looking for a beautiful nice flowing summer dress. Did not feel good in any of the 50+ I tried on 😢 Tried on a fitted classic belted dress and Ifelt like me. Didn't seem very wedding -y - but it was definitely me 😊 Have stayed with the classic look ever since 👍

I believe a greyish-Brown would suit you. The thing is, when our haircolour changes, we should evaluate our colours again. My hair is ash/grey, but my skin has a yellow tone, so I have to strike a balance between warm and cold

So funny you should mention that color. Stay tuned for an upcoming video... ☺️

I must have my personal style down to a T…frequently I’m told that whatever I’m wearing “looks just like me”. I’m very casual, sometimes a little boho but when I need to”dress up” I’m classic/ tailored.

Many dry clean only garments can be washed on the cold water/ delicates cycle in the washing machine in a linen bag & then hung to dry. If your not wearing a piece because it says dryclean only, wear it then try washing in a linen bag. If it gets ruined, then it wasn't meant to be in your wardrobe. Really I can't remember ruining anything using this method, including silk pieces. The key is the zippered linen bag! If you're really scared to use the washing machine, hand wash & dry by rolling piece up in a towel to remove moisture. It works, be brave and enjoy those clothes.❤

Exactly! I wash all sweaters and more delicate pieces in a mesh bag. They're a mandatory part of my clothing care.
