Thanks, Kris! This is great! I have several scripts that I use to create the basic structure of other scripts and source code files from templates. This gives me a way to create config files to fill in the necessary information in the templates without having to hard code it into my creation script.

I can try. Post an example file that you want to split someplace (pastebin.com or some other site), give me a link to it, and tell me by what rules you want to split the file. I'll see what I can do. As long as the file has some consistent element you want to split by, it shouldn't be that hard.
