@@OverWorkedLogic Have been dying for years to see just a very basic SIMPL program with a DMPS control processor, a TS-770 or TSW-760 (or similar) SIMPL program from start to finish. If there's any way you guys could do that. Thank you so, so much for this, you are fantastic, guys!

@@Crankupus I'll add it to the list... Already thinking of ways I could do this in a video that is short and concise.

@@OverWorkedLogic Oh man.... even if you could just do the hardware definitions and a few simple control signals, then compile.... that would make you a hero to thousands!

Thanks, that one is actually in the queue but your comment gives me a bit more ideas on what the video should contain. Hoping to get this one published next week.

Hey guys have you ever used rs-232 commands to control a Panasonic projector? I can send Sony, Samsung, Lg commands fine and control devices. And I can send the projo commands from windows through a usb to serial bridge but can’t figure it out for the Panasonic. Can you help?
@OverWorkedLogic Жыл бұрын
short answer, yes...have controlled panasonic projectors a lot of times. Usually the command structure contains an id, I usually target an id of "all" so I don't have to mess with it. The command structure looks something like \x02ADZZ;PON\x03 I'm curious why it is working for you from usb-serial bridge but not from a processor/receiver, you might have a wiring or connector pinout issue.

since you take over jonathan, should try follow his style to create content which is short, straight to point.the way u did like your proAV channel, too chatty.. hope you don't mind the the comment that what I'm felt.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I'm thinking if a video is over 5 mins it is probably too long for this style of tutorial (this one did feel kind of long when I was editing it)
