Creating Cross Section Views in Civil 3D

Is it possible from given 2d cross-section to create 3d model in civil? Please share some ideas, or tutorial

I don't know an easy way to do this other than manually placing points which would not be a very accurate surface because of the limited data you would be working with. I'm not saying it can't be done, but I don't know how to do it.

how can we directly find the lowest elevation from a section?
