Could you possibly create a video tutorial or provide an explanation on how to export Avatar, complete with skin textures and motion animations created within MD, from Marvelous Designer to Blender? Additionally, could you also explain how to export animated garments? I think this would be very helpful for many of us!

Hey bruh thanks for this tuto , im locked at the step with CTRL + L for the texture on the animation , the texture dosent apeare on the seconde chracter with animation , but the strange texture work on my first asset from daz , but not in the animation

Yo thank you bro! And I have rtx 3090. I would say for most cases it usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour to render 12 - 15 seconds

you dont need face gen to do this you could have just used the plug in for da to import face and it does the same thisng without the other site, then you can import it into blender with face shapes included, you would be able to use them as sliders or keyframe them to a facial mocap, the rest of the tutorial is good. but cutting that other site would save time and energy in your workflow, and having face shapes in the character already aswell

yo I appreciate this comment big time - but you would still need the rig gns plugin when doing this correct? I am looking to create a character in blender then animate both his face and body but Im unsure what the easiest steps would be to take. -Should I 1. export from Daz 3d and rig the body and face using rig-GNS 2. Fully edit the character 3. Add animations using Rokoko/mixamo 4. add clothing and shoes 5. create background 6. Export full animation Thanks

Hey question bro, around 2:25, I'm having trouble exporting the fbx file and then uploading it to Mixamo. I made sure to enable "Embed Textures" but it still doesn't come up in Mixamo the right way. What was your step by step process in transitioning from the export into Mixamo?

delete the original bones (they appear as black lines within the mesh) before exporting as fbx

If I’m turning myself into a character is it recommended that I wear makeup if I want the character to have long lashes and makeup?

If you want it to have makeup then yes. Long lashes you can add in later in blender

You can add hair first if you want. The reason I added animation first was because I wanted to do a separate video on hair
