One way I've used in the past, was overlaying masking tape over the original stickers, and using a burnishing tool to press the tape down, and find the edges. Just make sure to stick the tape to your pants a few times to get some of the stickiness off it, so it doesn't rip the original.

Sounds risky to me, but if you have had that work, great!

@ToyPolloiTwo as long as you get most of the stickiness off of the tape first. It should be ok. But like anything else. If you're gonna try it. Try it on a small, disposable sticker first. Next time I do it for an old G1, I'll snap a few pics, and send them to your email.

Have you tried masking tape and tracing the edge of the sticker under it to make a template? Transfer the tape to paper.
