Ah damn it, I wish I knew about this add-on before starting a work project! I had to create a city in the background, but me being a beginner, I did it Maya, downloaded some models, pasted some diffuse PNGs and try to make work all the while Maya likes to crash and run sluggish on 7GB.

Hey there! I have just purchased this and quite hyped about using it! I am having a small issue though. Currently, everything is just flat without any buildings. I can see the road and where the buildings are supposed to be, but the buildings are just aren't there. Could you help me with this, please? Thank you in advance!

That usually happens if you are using an older version of Blender because of the changes they made to the mix node. Redownload it and open it with the newer version.

@@cinematiccookie Sadly I have tried with version 3.4, 3.5, and 3.6 also. Nothing worked. :(

@@dipeppo Have you also redownloaded the file before opening it with the other versions? Once you open it with the old version and hit save it messes things up so that it won't be correct in the new version.

@@cinematiccookie I actually got another question - is there any way to lit up the windows of the buildings a bit more? I have tried added some fog glow (bloom) in compositing but sadly it doesn’t really add much.

Update found the solution, add you own custom settings and textures and then convert it all into a mesh and join 🫰🙏

This looks very grand! I'm a Blender noob, haven't even made a donut yet but this seems simple enough to give it a go! Question: I am trying to build a dynamic and immersive "real-time" backdrop for some Cyberpunk TTRPG adventures - is there a way to import preset layouts of existing cities in this generator? Such as Night City from the CyberPunk franchise? If not, I think I'll be buying it anyway to have some fun. Would be cool to have some city backdrops that I could custromise and alter to suit the mood of the campaign. Long comment, thanks for the great effort and I look forward to playing with it. Also, I saw the close up tree shots in your blendermarket and I just love that it's viable for you! Great ideas
