This was an amazing tutorial! Thank you!! I am having an issue with my picture on the actual event page. The picture is way too large. How would I edit this?

I am so glad you found it to be helpful! Which picture are you referring to? Is it a banner image? If you can link your website I can look at it!

Fantastic tutorial - thanks for this. I couldn't work out how another website I saw had events that could be purchased.

But I don't understand. When they view the events page for ballet class you set up they see may 17 underneath the title, but in the dropdown they can choose a different date? One that isn't may 17th? Then in like 6 months time when you are still trying to sell ballet classes to people, won't they still be viewing "may 17th" under the title? Sorry if I'm so confused, I've been tearing my hair out trying to find a solution to this.

So are you wanting just a repeating weekly class? Did you figure it out? Sorry it took me a few weeks to get back to you.

@@RebekahRead not so regular. I set my classes once/month roughly, but I set the dates for the whole year.

@@RebekahRead Love this tutorial, I'd also love to know how to set up a repeating class? Is this possible?

@@Instyle1001 and @melbourneclimbingschool Setting up a repeating class in Squarespace requires a bit of strategy, as Squarespace doesn’t natively support recurring events in their built-in Events collection. Here’s a breakdown of how to ensure your classes remain up-to-date with new dates over time if you’re using the Events collection: 1. Create an event page for your class and add an initial date below the title. 2. As time passes and new dates are scheduled, you’ll need to manually edit the event and update the dates. You can also create separate events for each new date and use filters or tags to display upcoming classes only. 3. If the dropdown is a custom feature (e.g., through a form or external tool), update the dropdown list manually to reflect the new dates. Unfortunately this is manual and time-consuming if your schedule changes frequently. You could use use a Third-Party Scheduling Tool like Acuity Scheduling (owned by Squarespace) or Calendly for managing recurring classes. Or you could duplicate events for each date where you write out the event details and save them as a reusable template or copy the event. Hope that helps!!
