OMG!! Thank you so much for this! I reached out to Squarespace to ask if it was possible to do this and the person had no idea! That's actually sad. I specifically was like, how can I send a customized email after the purchase of particular product.. 👀. So again thank you so much. I spent almost a half day , in between client calls trying to figure this out. And I'm very tech savvy!!! :) Any who! thanks David!

Such a great, easy to understand video. I'm wondering if auto email generation is possible with services integrated with booking through Acuity. If a client books on the website, through Acuity scheduling, can i swt up an auto email to go to them following the booking? Thank you :)

Great video man! Im just a little confused about the plans.. is automated campaign not sending them an email after purchase ? and it says unlimited but then under that is says "5k emails per month" is that a different kind of email? I hope this question makes sense. I want to send my customers emails of the dropbox link after they purchase an item on my store but I dont want to not be able to do that after 5k sales.

Great question, Squarespace does indeed send confirmation emails after purchase natively for no additional fee. But if you want to send additional follow-up and custom emails with specific resources and links, you’ll need to do it via an automation in the email campaign tool

Hello! I am on the basic commerce plan ($408 billed annually) but i can't seem to get this working. Do I need to move up to the next plan (commerce advanced)? Seems like a lot more to pay for this one feature... I am just wanting to send an automated confirmation email upon purchase. aAy help would be hugely appreciated!

I just realised that it might be a completely different plan for Campaigns, meaning i need to sign up to the "core" plan,$14/m for it to work? So i am essentially paying 2 seperate plans? is this correct?

Can you tell me how to send an automated email to new subscribers I've entered manually (imported)? As it hasn't activated the automation.

Great question - I don't know if that's possible... If it's a few emails, you can possibly create a newsletter block that adds them to the list one-by-one so that way it triggers the automation; but if you have hundreds of them, that might be hard! Let me know Vanessa :)
