Just one correction, the police will absolutely hold you back as letting you near the body would contaminate a crime scene, and unoccompanied deaths are treated as crime scenes until the medical examiner says otherwise. I unfortunately learned this very recently when my mother passed away. We did a welfare check but since nobody could see anything out of place the cop said he was not allowed in, however when i found her he immediately closed it off and wouldnt let anyone into the apartment.

the thing with the daughter really is too specific but imagine seeing the first one if you did actually lose your kid to drowning. that's kind of common, honestly, the stories about drowned kids are enough of a PSA. This was my exact thought, like someone who’s actually been through that just scrolling TikTok and suddenly BAM. Dead child.

Also it's too far doing a drowning child story WITH YOUR REAL CHILD. He makes the "PSA" way to much about the drowning an just the shock value rather then helping parents with the same experiences relate. He isn't even giving parents advise on how to prevent your kid from drowning. I wouldn't have a problem with this if he wasn't trying to act like he's helping the community.
