Creating Four Paintings at Once

Something I’ve never attempted before but an experiment to work on four canvases at once that are grounded by a series of gestures. It’ll be interesting to see how they develop and mature from this state of infancy. In just these beginning steps you can start to see the variation.
What I want this platform to be is an honest and transparent extension of my work. By showing the process from which I work it goes back to my days of teaching but I am also continuing to evolve and experiment with new processes. Hopefully it’s as educational as much as it is a digital gallery of my work.

Mon dieu, c'est pathétique de lire autant de commentaires désagréables alors que personne n'oblige personne à regarder ! C'est stupéfiant de malveillance et de médiocrité, pas étonnant que ce monde tourne mal avec autant de violence verbale, de jugement de valeur de l'autre... La frustration transpire de certains commentaires... Montrez donc votre travail personnel, vous qui êtes si supérieurs, meilleurs et surtout bien cachés derrière votre écran !!! What type of paint are you using? I assume it is acrylic. I have not seen you finish the sides of your paintings. Only the drips running down. Are they hung as is or frames? Also is there water in the bottle you are using or other liquid?

the usual mechanism of how a painting functions are being ignored here, less is more. the strange thing is that in places where it starts to function, where contrast and movement are being balanced, you then pour black into the exact space and thus break the tension. Why four at once if you don’t use them to reference them to one another. use the whole expanse over four paintings, your use of black in the first one actually worked, the in the third one it kills the whole thing. read up on abstract expressionism, robert motherwell is a good one to use, read up on the weight of paint and its values, as the colors you use could also be a factor. maybe use gesso more to build up surfaces, use more layers, and forms that span over all four painting, each ending differently and assign values to each color. I like your creativity, and you seem to be able to hang on to the working aspect of the task, which makes me think that you are process orientated, which is a good thing. i should do a video of how to school and hone your instincts, hit me up if you’re interested. hope this note is seen as constructive, which it is intended to be. stay creative.

It may seem like a moment of expressing talent or trying to get in tune with mysterious elements of creative power that an artist would never have established .... but for me it 's just a lack of creativity , paint is thrown this way and that . he spreads it out with spatulas, knives, crumpled paper and a lot of Jackson Pollock posturing, as if that would give him the ultimate art enlightenment .

Una técnica de trabajo muy controlada y limitada.... No sentí ningún suspenso en diferencia a la pintura rítmica de Jackson Pollock o Gerhard Richter entre otras..... En Aleman se diría "ohne Spannung & langweilig" Y ni siquiera se ve la obra terminada.... Le falta chilli amigo!!!
