Loved your video, these stitching does are my favorites. I have cross stitch for years but had not done much in along time. I have since pulled out my cross stitch again and loving it !!❤️❤️ I am recovering from 5 surgeries in nine months so pulling out and using what I have is the best I can do for now. Being over 65 having money to by craft supplies is hard but I find it more therapeutic! God bless, enjoy your children ❤️❤️❤️

I enjoy stitching. I use beading needles. They are narrow enough to go through beads and carry the thread. Those stitched cards are so cute. Thanks, Jennifer!❤

Hi Jennifer! Just wanted to thank you, again, for creating fabulous videos for all of us! You are a wonderful teacher and your videos are very easy and fun to watch. Oh, and I LOVED the pink snowflake card! I actually like the snowflake layered like that instead of just using one snowflake die cut. It looks more like a full snowflake when layered. Have a great week!

Dental floss threaders, which you can find at drugstores, are also great for threading embroidery floss through the eye of a needle, too, and I use them all the time in my craft room for threading ribbons through holes, etc.

As a child I first learned to embroider on plastic canvas. I made many things over the years, but discovered that plastic canvas isn’t resilient. It becomes brittle and breaks. I do have one barrette left though that’s over 30 years old. You revived my interest in card embroidery. I was obsessed with it like in the late 90s or early 00s, definitely before die cutting was a thing. Because you showed various stitching dies, I discovered the background hole dies, the ones that die cut a grid. Many of the ideas I never could quite make work on plastic canvas do work on paper. I used to make jewelry by bead embroidering on both sides of the plastic canvas but as I said the plastic becomes brittle. But paper is flexible and resilient and I can definitely bead on both sides of the paper. I can also die cut different shapes and holes. Lots to explore. I was happy to see you adding beads. I like beads combined with paper embroidery. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with Spellbinders’ sweater die set. I’m interested in the dies but not sure that the proportions are aesthetically pleasing. I’m afraid combining the sweater with the stitched elements will look like a sweater with a gigantic patch.

Just had an idea! (and maybe other have below but I haven't read all the comments). For the debossed/angled floral tree, maybe to avoid putting pressure on what you already debossed, you can just partially feed it through for the portion you're adding in the corner. Just a thought. I treasure you, Jennifer!! My best friend and fellow card-maker, Rina, and I use SO many of your techniques.

I don't even like pink, but the pink snowflake was my favorite. I think it's because of the symmetry resulting from the quarter turn. I was recently wondering how often influencers put something out that they're not thrilled with. Now i know that you do, and I'm happy for it!

One thing I do to cut down on a knot or extra tape on the back is to put the two ends of the floss thru to needle and then go into the hole and on the back side, run the needle thru to loop and pull and it secures the thread then continue stitching with the doubled thread. I hope that makes sense!

Hello Jennifer, I love your card making. I sent you a stitched card I hope you received it. Also I have been stitching on cards well over 20 years. I am a seamstress by trade but retired from the working field. I see you are using metallic thread and being a seamstress. This is what I use to prep the thread so it doesn’t twist and go out kinky on you. It’s called thread heaven and it feels like a wax but I don’t believe it is. I used it for quilting long time ago so you may want to pick it up. It is a fantastic tool to use on your thread leaves no residue and I hope that you can find it. I got my along time ago, I believe at Joann’s but I have ordered new ones off of Amazon. Have a great day.
