Some GG Strive tech! There's a million and one ways to mixup with roman cancels to be sure, but the way detailed in the video is (mostly)universal and no gimmicks or setups needed! It kinda requires you to set up some macros unless you extra fast hands but otherwise its all pretty simple! Even though its technically using the run for momentum, even someone like Nagoriyuki who can't run can still use the tech which is interesting and fun!

I don't think this has anything to do with momentum, what I think might be happening is that by inputting forward dash before backdash + rc you're dashing backwards then immediately rc drifting forward. That would explain why it still works with nagoriyuki

what's relevant about this is that is has no tell other than the prc flash which unreactable really, doing it after fuujin hop gives plenty room for catching on a possible incoming overhead

@@mikairu2944 If you do it close enough to the ground after the hop you can essentially create the same mixup. Immediately use j.P or land for 2P. The long "tell" from the hop doesn't really matter that much because they still need to guess between high/low/grab. The big problem is being knocked out of the hop, but you can pull this off after an otg Fuujin as well, just gotta time it right.

Not once have I got it work by holding the Dash macro. The entire input for it to work for me is Dash (tap) ~ 4RC. You make it look easy but this input is actually more complex than it seems lol.

Advice needed: As a Ram main i can't find an application for this tech. The only normals i can use after instant overhead (by the way, only j.P, nothing else works) are either 5K or 2K with only possible option to follow being 623P. j.P>5K>623P - not very impressive combo for half a bar. Am i missing something, or Ram is really out of luck and have no use for this tech?

I need to utilize dash macro more but in keyboard its kinda weird. I'm using the fake hitbox layout but I don't really now where to put the dash button without it being awkward, I use 456 12 on the numerical keyboard for P, S, H, K, D respectively. I'm using 7 for dash and 3 for RC But its really awkward to reach for the dash button while pressing other buttons

You might want to move your buttons off numpad, on fightstick I use a top row pinky key for dash macro, k and Hs are done with thumb p with pointer s with middle dust with ring, rc is the pinky key below dash macro

I use the dash macro but I find it way easier to do the dash RC manually.

its pretty much as it is, you just gotta find the timing. dash, then immediately back, RC. You can slow the yt vid down in the settings and look at my inputs

BRC specifically, cause you have to be in the dash animation for a frame or two. There are many mixups with purple rcs for characters that can create similar situations, but its all character specific vs this being more universal

I guess you could technically do something similar if you Fast PRC out of a move that leaves you airborne, like maybe Ky's Foudre Arc. Don't know if that works though

yea tried it and same deal. she can't throw any buttons but jP. doesn't look too relevant. Ram has good corner pressure though so it shouldn't be too bad.

I can't seem to get anything to come out in time with Anji. I get the puff of dust when landing so I know that I'm doing it right, but none of the normals seem to fast enough to do anything with it. Any fan-bros care to confirm?

@@blastimbre That’s what I was thinking, though. If it’s only useful on a knockdown, it’s a little more telegraphed, and thus weaker as a mixup, and also vulnerable to backdash n stuff, as opposed if you could just true blockstring into a 50/50

This specific one is only brc yes cause you need the backdash. Lots of charactesr have prc setups sure, but the whole point of this one is its mostly universal, no need for character specifics

@@littlegentleman3262 It allows you to buffer inputs while still holding forward. Now its cheating to me and in no way should it be taken out of the game. More of a personal morals thing but I am a firm believer in that if someone bought something they should be able to use it how they want.
