This is such a great lesson. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I already have F-C-G-G on the looper and I am playing each one of these licks over and over. Hopefully I will start to retain them and relate them to the chords so I can use them for other songs. I LOVE when he said don't play the same part as the other guitar player! Agreed Matt! We just picked a drum loop and Justin laid down a bass track. We exported that to my iPad and played to that and then I sent all those tracks to my buddy to mix it a bit for us and that was basically it.

THANK YOU! Sorry I’m seeing this so late. This is my whole point. It’s fun to be impressive and be a “guitar player’s guitar player”, but I want to be the kind of guitar player that non-guitar-playing musicians want to play music with.
