Another great string of ideas and enablements! Thanks Lukas. Great toolbar too. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day way we do stuff in a DAW. I’ve tried so many DAWs and they all have their pitfalls. I tried the earlier versions of S1 too but it’s only really ‘come of age’ for me with v6 and the enhanced video function. With your added videos, macros and interesting ideas I’m able to branch out into new areas while knowing the ‘bread and butter’ is taken care of. Already tried the note randomisation for melody inspiration and it’s excellent. Instead of no idea I now almost have too many! But I’m not complaining! ;-) I know how much your work is appreciated by all of us, so please do keep it up!

This is why i love and highly recommend using an arp that has a probability functionality. Only two i know of - Peak and Bleass. Why? Not only do you get random notes, but random spacing of notes - that creates a sequencer quality vs an arp (where notes are constant without any rhythmic changes or syncopation). Adjusting percentage increase/decreases note probability.

With Randomize type functions in S1 we can rely less on pricey VSTs or even augment them for diversity. Thank you!

Nice im just getting into studio one there are some many functions and useful features its overwhelming. I switched from fl studio great software ust too many work arounds needed due to the old code. Studio one really doesn't get as much love as it should.

Hi Lukas, This is so helpful. Studio One Pro 6 Rocks especially with your very helpful tutorials, and contributions to Studio One Pro. Thank You so much. A few off topic questions : Q1. When do you think Studio One Pro 7 will be released ? I wonder if it will be released during Q1 - 2024 ? Q2. I'm also wondering if Presonus is still actively developing Notion (their notation program) ? I would love it if they release NOTION 7, offering lots of improvements, and very tight integration with Studio One Pro 7. Cheers, Muziksculp

Hi muziksculp, thanks for the comment! I can't comment on future versions of Studio One before it's official - sorry. Regarding Notion I can say: Yes, they're actively developing Notion. The last big release was the new Notion Mobile app which was ported to Studio One's framework. That's why it's now available for iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, Android, Windows, Chrome OS und Fire OS. So they're absolutely on it and I'm sure the development of Notion (for desktop) will also benefit from that :)
