Six weeks ago I did a major trim on my PA and rooted about twenty cuttings. I was thinking about trying to make one look like the 4th tree of yours, a little conifer style. I like 4th tree.

Thanks for watching. I'm glad the 4th tree sparked an idea, I think that's my favorite tree as well. Best of luck to you.

Thanks, glad you liked it. If you haven't seen one of Nigel Saunder's (The Bonsai Zone) videos on his mini bonsai (he's got a few videos featuring them now), I highly recommend them. His minis were my inspiration. The book "Miniature Bonsai: The Complete Guide to Super-Mini Bonsai" by Terutoshi Iwai is also great and an inspiration for these.

@@BonsaiNorthwest thanks for the recommendation 👍 I've only seen a couple of his latest videos so I'll have to look for those with the miniature trees

Somehow this video got by me...Only recently started working with Portulacaria afra after being inspired by "Coffee and Bonsai with Tom"...Very helpful to present nursery stock to planting steps for those who are learning the fundamentals of Port's...The "Lilliput" is a really great strain and looks Bonsai-ish almost immediately...Nice video my friend...Thanks for sharing...

Thanks! I'm also a fan of "Coffee and Bonsai with Tom", especially his small ports. The Lilliput is great for small bonsai. I'm not a huge fan of tropicals...until it's winter. Then I'm glad I have a few things growing inside. Not that they really grow much in my cold house. A grow light helps a a ton, but the cold still slows them down.
