I’m really excited for this game but I’m very annoyed that I HAVE to buy it on the epic launcher. Like just let me buy it on steam. I’ve had so many issues using the epic launcher cause I’ve had two accounts get deactivated. All I would do was just casually play rocket league. I stopped playing for like a month and I come back and the account is “inactive”

BL3 came out at a pivotal time. I had just signed a mixer contract, and was really focusing on family when off stream. VOD hasnt been something Ive had a lot of time for

Like the others from the bl2 era they didn't like bl3. They didn't like the constant adjusting of playable charters trees. Didn't like the story or pacing. And some other things if i remember. Some had more valid reasons than others. I agree with them for the most part. I played 3 and kept in touched with the community but bl3 lacked the same charm at bl2. The pacing of the story was off and a slog to get through. There were no traditional raid bosses. I like the new approach to it, go through some level the fight a boss, but I also wanted traditional raid bosses. I dont like farming in a borderlands game. I like playing through the game with different builds for different experiences. So for me bl3 took a huge hit with the story. The characters didn't feel unique and the skills trees fell flat in bl3. There was diversity but it didn't feel unique. By the end of bl2 there weren't many builds, but until that point there were. I like skills trees that change the character fundamentally. In bl2 zero in his action skill could dash, respawn clone, have clone explode at end, and throw kunai. With flak you could summon bird that last a few seconds, make animal big, turn invisible auto crit, get helath with bird, turn bird cryo. In bl3 the action skills were there to proc annoints. In bl2 and tps they did something. Tps did uniqueness and build diversity well. Athena's elemental skill tree, Wilhelm's middle tree, Aurelia all around, every skill tree in tps and bl2 made the character different and unique. I summoned a cannon on my shoulder that shot fireballs. I could slam with Aurelia, tether enemies, make them explode, then summon lighting. The problem with bl3 is they gave up specificity, sniper rifles get x dmg. shotguns do x, extreme cryo tree, you get an action skill that can be changed with game changing skills. For generality, all guns gain, all guns gain, all guns gain, cryo to action skill, action skill slams forward. This lack of specificity HURTS diverse builds, not helps. A painter works with many colors and brushes to make his art look nice, not 2 or 3, unless they are very skilled. The same applies here, specificity breeds uniqueness. In bl3 you can use the same few guns for every build so it is near the same as any other build with any character. You could get specifics builds but it wasn't the same.

The base game is short but good but the dlc is the worst in borderlands history and its short as hell
