Creating NEW Pokémon Evolutions | The Elemental Monkey Trio - DavuDude

The elemental monkeys have always seemed like wasted potential, which is the absolute worst. Taking an interesting concept and making such underwhelming Pokémon out of it...so let’s fix them up by creating new pokemon evolutions for them. These new pokemon are going to take their original concept and expand on it with these evolutions diving deeper into their idea of being a tutorial on type match ups.
Making your own new Pokémon concepts and designs or fakemon is pretty much a thing every Pokémon fan has at least thought of doing and after watching video series from youtubers like Truegreen7, subjectivity as well as lockstin and gnoggin. I was inspired to write my ideas and descriptions all out, organized it all with reference photos. Find talent artists and try to bring these concepts to life for a video series. These new pokemon evolution cost a pretty penny (rightfully so for the time and effort these artist put into it) so I hope you all enjoyed ^_^

The backgrounds were all images I found on google by typing in “Abstract colored backgrounds” and just playing with the scale and position keyframes but I hope to make some custom ones for future videos :) Some of the google images seem to be pictures from that were actual KZbin channels that upload backgrounds for user to...well use for personal or commercial use, so I’ll link them in the description to check out if your interested -

Honestly? Same. There are way uglier pokemon(including new monkey/animals since gen 8, monferno is also uglier tbh). The only flaw they had was that they never had a third evolution despite clearly meaning to mirror the starter trio.

Yeah I actually got no problem with the simi’s if they just had another evolution to them. And I 100% agree actually lol. That was the first conceptualized Pokémon I thought up and definitely coulda done a bit better of a job with primesage. In hindsight maybe giving it a more charred, ashy type look but the artist did the best he could with what I gave him at the time.

I like how Primesear uses steam as cover and for pneumatic pressure packed punches, like a steam engine. If I could add a second signature move, it would be a fire physical attack, 30 base power/100 accuracy priority move that guarantees a burn and synergizes with iron fist: Piston Punch.

Maybe as a nod to their heightened senses they could all learn detect and only have moves with 95+ base accuracy

Maybe the new forms could be based on gorillas. Rillasage Rillapour Rillasear Rillasage could have razor leaf gauntlets on its wrists Rillapour could have a bubble like coat or stand on bubbles Rillasear could have fiery fists and feet and maybe a fiery mouth or something. I think they deserve new evos to give them more love and people actually choose to use them on their teams. Maybe the simi’s could evolve into them in areas that are related to their evo, maybe inside reversal mountain, Undella Bay, and Pinwheel or Lostlorn Forest.

With how a Castform could be found on Route 6, the Primes having merged typings makes more sense, as they both embody what's "ahead" and "behind" the starter's type. The theme of sharp contrasts fits Unova as well.

Honestly I gave them a Fighting secondary typing and adjusted them to have a specific combat strength (ATK,DEF,SPD) design.

The only reason I personally wouldn't go that route is we already have a fighting monkey in infernape. And that'd have also have given us a 4th overall fire fighting type and now two fire fighting types in the same game. But I can easily see fighting being a perfect secondary type for them regardless

I designed my Simisear evolution off The Six-eared Macaque. A monkey that posed as Sun Wukong. So Simisear evolution is a monkey resembling a cross of Simisear with Infernape. Infernsear a fire/dark flame pokemon. Sick of being outshone by Infernape he Simisears evolve to try and gain Infernape's fans.

Sorry for the late reply. Coulda swore I responded to this. but I pictured Primesage to besubstantially bigger then the other two at about 5' 9". Around charizard's height. Primepour 4' 11" so around greninja's height standing up. and primesear about 4' 4", so alittle shorter then a sawk. Kinda always wanted it to be noteably shorter then the other two when lined up. Giving off a Vegeta or levi vibe.
