This was really interesting to see how you transition from life traveling around the world to settling down for a bit. How do you keep up with homeschooling while you are traveling. I know that we have homeschooled before on vacations but it is tough! 😊

The homeschooling part was really interesting! We didn’t put a lot of emphasis on the homeschooling because we were only traveling for a year. We made sure their reading, writing, and math skills were maintained at the appropriate grade level, and let them focus on the travel experiences and learning through that. My husband and I are both teachers so it was easier for us to keep them up to speed on the academics. They have been back to regular school for over a year now, and doing great academically. They actually came back from their homeschool year as very independent and self motivated learners, even more than when we left.

Yes, we didn’t realize how bad the economy would upturn in just one year. If we knew how fast the prices of everything would sky rocket and how unavailable everything would be, we probably would have kept our stuff! Lolol. But everything always works out! And luckily we were able to find what we needed!’
