Hi~ i found your tutorial really helpful, I'm just having a problem bc anytime I change brushes and go back to the one I created, the changes are not saved so I have to keep setting it each time I decide to use it. Can you help me?

Yes you will need to save the settings as a new brush. Last step is always to save it. In the top right of the brush settings, there is a menu item. (Three stacked lines). There you can set New Brush Preset. That will save it to the bottom of you brushes.

When you painted in that brush, were you using the lasso tool and the clipping mask function? You did it so quickly I couldn't tell. How did you do it? I'm new to Photoshop still and trying to learn new tricks and tips.

I followed everything that u did but when I try and use the brush theres some light coloured square around the shape from where I selected it using the rectangular marquee tool. Please tell me how to get rid of this

Did you paint it black on white? If the background is not white it will include that.

You probably did not create your brush shape with a black colour. Or you drew it with a semi transparent brush!

How do you create a new cloud brush???

Hi Rissa, I think you would go about it the same way :). However if you want realistic clouds you could photograph them and then by de-saturating it and then using contrasts you can create a black and white matte of the cloud. Then you would select it and create a brush preset from that. Let me know if that make sense.

I ever draw clouds just with basic brush, and most of the artist also draw clouds from basic brush. Just play with the texture
