Honestly don’t even take anymore math classes, but sometimes I pop in and like these videos when I see them in my sub box because of how much your content helped me get through calc II LOL. I think I speak for most CS majors who hate the math portion of our curriculum when I say thank you 😂

Im a freshman CS major and this dude has been an absolute godsend for helping me get through Calc 1. One question for you though, as a CS major how much more math did you take after completing Calc 2?

Man, telling students about the Galois proof in a neat way for exponents >=5 is amazing. So open with everyone, no matter the math level in question. Amazing to watch you.

I've been watching your lessons for years now. You are easily the clearest and most patient Math teacher on KZbin. I spent at least one month a while back going through your videos one by one and I found them soooo satisfying. It's also really annoying how good looking you are as well...but I will let that pass ;)

I just came back to this channel for the nostalgic value. This really brings back memories, you helped me pass my engineering math courses last 3 years ago. I am in my last semester now. Thank you for all your help, Professor Leonard!

Leonard I am taking Algebra 2 for my third time and I was almost going to give up after my lecturer wasn't making a lot of sense. I don't know what I'd do without this series. I need to do calc 1 and 2 in the coming months to get into my CS program and knowing there's videos for you for those too is like a light at the end of a tunnel. Bless.

Honestly I felt sorry for my colleagues when I tried telling them about Prof. Leo and they just shrugged it off. Got me through math during my bachelor's, will be studying with him during my master's. The only way I can describe the feeling I get when studying using his videos is this sort of feeling that only the sky is the limit, as long as he is around. Honestly one of the best professors around. Wish he'd come back and finish differential equations, though I hope he's doing well, hasn't been active in a while.

I feel so stupid for taking Pre-Calc Hons. in my senior year of high school, it feels like I'm not smart enough to learn complex mathematics. I kinda wish I can go back and increase my knowledge in math, but I know that's too late. Is anyone on the same boat as me? And by the way, I want to achieve a Bachelors in Accounting or Finance, so I need to get t better at math immediately!
@Peter_19863 жыл бұрын
If you review the fundamental math courses then you will have better chances to pass more advanced math courses. Also, everyone forgets this stuff all the time. I recently had a course in partial differential equations, but I still learn new things by rewatching all these videos.

@RR_theproahole Жыл бұрын
That's not a polynomial. And that's not as hard as you think it to be. If x+1/x = 3 => (x+1/x)^4 = 81 By binomial theorem and simple algebra, you get x^4 + 1/x^4 = 47
