Creating realistic 3d model of footwear for brands

I'm glad to share this tutorial with you, on how to create a realistic 3d model of footwear for brands.
This is a compact version of the full process from scratch to finished high-end render, therefor it's suggested that you should already know base modelling techniques and tools, be familiar with sculpting in Zbrush and have some understanding of how substance painter works. Сейчас золотое время, когда достаточно изучить всё самому, оформить портфолио и красиво себя представить) Диплома как такового и нет. Все же программы все ещё разрабатываются, появляются новые. Есть просто частные школы/курсы/институты, которые якобы дают диплом, но это так себе.

Very realistic! Is there another efficient way to create stitch hole? Does it have to model the hole one by one?

If you don’t need anything special, you can just increase brush spacing and do strokes.

If I exclude all my looks aside on other duties, I guess it took me around a month or so to do. :) You may speed it up and ignore retoping and polycount optimization, but I wanted to show an ideal model from high demands of the clients.

Thanks for the Tutorial please how did you import your UV map from 3Ds to Zbrush how did you import your retopo mesh to fit ?

UV map is imported automatically with geometry (if it was unwrapped). My retop mesh fitted, because in the beginning I assigned one scale and kept it across whole workflow. It simply replaced one geometry with the new retop one.

Just curious. Why are you using 3ds AND zbrush when you can do the same thing in both? Is there a method you have in place one should use. Also , i Love the work

Because 3d max can’t replace Zbrush and Zbrush can’t replace max 😂

@@cristozx around 9,5 hours. There are about 32 videos with duration of around (9-25 min) depending on the topic. It’s quite a detailed tutorial, I tried to explain every step.

how do you transparent your zbrush to view PureRef image.

I think I mentioned, if not, then on the top right there is a slider SEE-THROUGH. Just drag a slider to control how transparent it should be :)

Временно мои уроки приостановили на Артстейшн. Пока не знаю, где можно их выставить безопасно на продажу, жду, когда ситуация станет стабильнее и будет понятно как строить дела дальше. Поэтому временно только на ютубе можно посмотреть упрощенные варианты. Но планирую выпускать уроки на русском языке теперь. Возможно буду просто бесплатно выставлять здесь на ютубе. Ещё не решила, так как ситуация постоянно меняется и трудно определиться.
