Not sure about august being sung alone like that. I'd imagine her sing a medley of the infamous trio: cardigan, august and betty, and it would make sense because folklore and evermore (and probably lover) should kinda be more prominent than the other albums. Also Message In A Bottle feels like a possibility in the free or happy sections. But I don't think my tears ricochet fits well as a medley especially with willow? Also I wonder if she'd focus more on vault tracks than the already performed times bops? But overall I loved this!! especially tear drops on my guitar with last kiss!! Like she's been ignoring last kiss for far too long

Chef’s kiss...the way this is structured, the folklore/ evermore mashup, Love story/ Enchanted, the Cruel Summer opener... truly so inspired I had to try to make my own around yours with my own changes in asterisks (May or may not have just spent 2 hours doing this procrastinating other work) Should be noted that I'm also obsessed with Holy Ground, that and State of Grace are both in my top 10 but State of Grace is slightly above so I included that instead. Tysm for writing the whole thing out so clearly! I have some thoughts on your choices though 😂 Act 1 - HARD disagree on dropping ITHK for Paper Rings. I do like Fearless in the medley, but I’m not sure I’d want to sacrifice the ‘can you feel this magic in the air’ moment Zack described… 💛 Act 2 - I’m not a State of Grace hater but I don’t agree that it would should knock out New Romantics. I LOVE the addition of Getaway Car into the ‘free’ section. Act 3 - I like the addition of Treacherous, but I wouldn’t cut Holy Ground for it. I think I’d put Treacherous in place of OOTW, assuming OOTW is a copy of the 1989 tour version (which went all the way off, but she had her moment). I love the concept of the IKYWT/LWYMMD medley, so I’d keep that too. I could take or leave Red. Act 4 - I actually really like the choice to swap Better Man with Nothing New. Better Man is a great song, but maybe doesn’t need to be on the set list if there’s already ATW10. I think Zack intended my tears ricochet to be a standalone song, not part of the folklore medley. I like the addition of the 1 to the medley. I agree that I’m not sure how my tears ricochet would work live… like…. I would genuinely rank it the best song on folklore, but it’s just SO SAD. I would genuinely start sobbing if she sang it live. Perhaps I would feel differently once all the re recordings are released, but I feel very conflicted about having MTR performed live. Act 5 - thought bubble.. could we put Mr Perfectly Fine instead of Forever and Always? Act 6 and encore - mine instead of Shake it Off.. girl what???? Lover and Long Live are good. I’d pick Wildest Dreams over Lover.

I know some of my choices appear questionable...I find I Think He Knows and Paper Rings to both be a bit annoying, if I'm being honest, but I just like how fast paced and upbeat Paper Rings is which is why I think it wouldn't be an *awful* opening? Not to sound like a hater. I would keep Holy Ground but I'm truly a State of Grace stan and couldn't not have it in there, and those songs sound so similar to me. Treacherous in place of OOTW I think works well, yes! Knocked out that IKYWT/LWYMMD because selfishly that's not my fave kind of song style from her, but I agree it's objectively the 'better' move. I LOVE Red as a song but I feel like a lot of people have further down on their faves? I think Nothing New would translate really well live!! And yes agree about My Tears Ricochet, glad you appreciate the 1 in there Mr. Perfectly Fine probably would be the better choice in there, IMO, that's a good thought!! Makes sense to have another vault track in there. Again for me, Mine is top tier to me lolol, I find Shake It Off to be in the same kind of annoying song category that I really want to love but can't...I know Shake It Off is way more of a hit and more iconic, but I feel like Mine is pretty big for some of her OG fans, at least my friends and me hahaha it's one that I belt out for sure

@@foxyroxyroxmysox lmao I trashed the paper rings substituting ITHK bc I actually love ITHK and I don’t especially care for paper rings (Taylor referring to Joe as ‘baby boy’ makes me want to set myself on fire). I agree with you that it would be a good opener, and it probably would have done great as a single. Red is an odd song. Like, I’d be so excited to hear it live, would sing every note, but if it wasn’t on the set list, I would not care at all. I’m not sure if that makes any sense. If I’m speaking my truth, Shake it Off isn’t my favourite TS song by a long way. I never cared for the ‘rap’, or the music video, and it got SO much radio play it’s kind of forever ruined for me. I love it mostly as a prelude to Blank Space 😂 (my favourite TS song). But the one context where Shake it Off is 💯 necessary is a stadium tour, and it makes a great closer. I love Mine too, but I don’t think she fits there. I’d rather see it added to the Love Story/Enchanted mashup (10 min version haha).

I love the idea of a LWYMMD/IKYWT mashup!! Here’s how I’d structure it- IKYWT moody choruses (like 1989 tour version opening) LWYMMD instrumental bar just before V1 (live string instruments) LWYMMD verse 1 LWYMMD pre-chorus (But I got smarter…), but in the style of the second time through with the answer/response vocals LWYMMD chorus LWYMMD bridge x2 (like the track) IKYWT moody post choruses (just the ‘ah.. ahh, trouble trouble trouble’ bit so Taylor can catch her breath and lean on backup vocals for a second) IKYWT bridge IKYWT chorus x2, finishing abruptly with the lyric ‘lying on the cold hard ground’ I think this arrangement showcases the best of both songs, would be feasible to sing live and uses IKYWT to help tell the Kimye story rather than trying to tell two stories at once.

For a future video, I think it would be fun if you did a deep dive into Taylor Swift's acting history. It's relevant with her upcoming cameo in the new David O. Russell film! In your Evolution of a Snake podcast I found it interesting how acting came up again and again over the years for her, but it's just not something she excels at (nor does she have to; she's so good at what she does!) But I imagine it's this deep desire she has that she just can't let go of. I love the happy free confused structure - it works on many levels, right down to the nod to Taylor’s Twitter bio. I’m wondering if you would want to leave any space for a secret song or special guest appearance in this show? If so, where would this go in the show and would you need to cut anything out?

Very interesting question as per usual Elena…. I think I would probably shove a secret song in the b stage section w the tree? Can’t remember which section that was under lol. Confused maybe? I think the secret song should be an acoustic moment, but it could also be cool to put the secret song in the free section and force her to do a full PRODUCTION of the secret song rather than an acoustic moment if you know what I mean

@@theswiftologist I like to keep you on your toes haha :) I listened to the video again just to look for secret song opportunities. I think they would work in either of these spots- 1) at the end of the ‘lonely’ (B stage) act, between folklore medley (invisible string) and DBATC of ‘miserable’ act. Pros are that almost any song would work between these two song, and I would think that logistically, it would be MUCH more practical and simple to have a secret song be acoustic moment rather than a full production, which opens the possibility of legitimately doing a different song every night. 2) Beginning of ‘magical’ final act, perhaps as an alt to the permanent marker/I heart ?/I’d lie medley, or immediately following the medley. Pros are that there would be the opportunity for a full production moment, and that you would have to wait for pretty much the whole show to see what she’s going to do, which would be super exciting.
